Andrew Hoyt has over a decade of software engineering experience working for companies that range from small Ottawa-area tech start ups, to Nortel Networks, to Canada’s Nobel prize winning neutrino observatory. Regardless of the role, Andrew has always had a passion for understanding technology and passing that enthusiasm on to others. Andrew joined Irdeto in 2016 as a Software Engineer implementing new features for Irdeto’s Cloakware Software Protection product offerings. In 2019 he transitioned to a more customer-facing role, looking after the EMEA region as a technical expert interfacing with customer engineering teams and working with them to develop solutions to their security problems.
Andrew holds Bachelor’s of Science in both Engineering Physics and Computer Science from Canada’s Queen’s University. He’s also studied at the IMD school of business in Lausanne, Switzerland.
