Frank Poppelsdorf, VP of Content Protection, Irdeto
Frank is Vice President for Irdeto’s content protection business line and leads the strategic direction for Irdeto’s Android TV offering, Conditional Access, OTT and watermarking. He oversees a global team of product management experts to define product development across these business areas and has a background of nine years’ experience in conditional access and 18 years in the media industry. Frank is an expert in content delivery platforms and holds a Masters in Computer Science from Utrecht University.
Mark Mulready, Vice President of Cybersecurity Services, Irdeto
Mark leads the strategic direction, global delivery and management of Cybersecurity Services for sports rights owners, broadcasters/operators, games publishers and other verticals. In addition to managing a global team of analysts, investigators and product management experts, Mark oversees the marketing activities for the Irdeto Cybersecurity Services team.
Mark was previously the Fraud & Operational Security Manager at Foxtel and also served 16 years in New South Wales Police Service including special assignments in the Drug Enforcement Agency, the National Crime Authority and 3 years as a Prosecutor.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Wollongong and was admitted as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2004. He is currently Vice President for the leading pan European industry association – AAPA. (http://www.aapa.eu/ )
Bengt Jonsson, Senior Vice President, Sales
Bengt is responsible for strategic planning for key accounts, new business acquisition, developing new growth opportunities, leading Irdeto’s global sales team and overseeing the company’s integrated marketing program. Bengt joined Irdeto as Vice President Sales, Asia Pacific in July 2008. Prior to joining Irdeto, Bengt was CEO of LyngBox Media AB, a Swedish hybrid set-top box start-up. He has also held senior management positions with Thomson’s Client Device business unit in Asia and with Nokia’s multimedia business units in Asia and Europe. Bengt holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linkoping University in Sweden and Cranfield Institute of Technology in the UK.
Daniel is the Global Head of Connected Transport at Irdeto. Having been through digitalization in the media industry over the past 15 years, Daniel brings key insights and experience on security issues impacting the automotive industry in today’s connected world. Prior to Irdeto, Daniel has held several senior leadership roles, including EVP of Sales and Marketing at KIT Digital Asia Pacific. When KIT was restructured to Piksel, he held the position of SVP of Commercial EMEA/APAC. He was also VP of Global Sales at International Datacasting. Daniel holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from the University of Amsterdam, a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Linkoping’s University in Political Science and Sociology, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Strategic Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the UK.
Mark Hearn is the Head of IoT Security at Irdeto. He is responsible for leading Business Development strategies to secure organization’s IoT applications and connected devices. Mark has been with Irdeto since 2003, through Irdeto’s acquisition of Cloakware. Mark is a seasoned Product Management executive with 20 years of bringing technology and business requirements together to solve market problems, particularly within Media Entertainment and Security markets. In addition to being a product leader in the private sector, Mark has also provided Business Analysis security consulting into the Canadian government and has spoken at security conferences. Mark holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from Acadia University in Nova Scotia, Canada and has received certifications in Product Management, Technical Marketing and Strategic Marketing.
Rodrigo is the product manager for Irdeto’s multi-DRM product. He has over 14 years of professional experience having previously worked for both infrastructure vendors such as Nokia and NokiaSiemens as well as tier-1 operators like T-Mobile.
Juan Martinez is responsible of the OTT media protection products at Irdeto and has extensive experience in the introduction of new technologies as digitalization of TV, HD and 4K, as well as large OTT deployments. Juan has been working in global electronics and telecommunication businesses since 1999 for companies including Phillips, Liberty Global, and Acision, before joining Irdeto. Originally from Barcelona, Juan holds an MSc in Electronic engineering.
Bob Hernandez, Sales Director, Denuvo
Bob worked for Sony DADC for 17 years where he held many roles of increasing responsibility, including positions in Digital Authoring, Marketing and as Director of Business Development for the Sony DADC DigitalWorks department. He has expertise in contract negotiations, sales, business development and customer relationship management working with major games publishers such as Electronic Arts and Take 2 and major film studios such as Sony Pictures and Lionsgate.
Reinhard Blaukovitsch, Founder and Managing Director, Denuvo
Reinhard previously worked with Sony DADC as the Senior Vice President of Digital Works for 23 years, where he was successful in business development through strategic and entrepreneurial thinking.
With a wealth of international experience as a business unit leader in the software and entertainment industry for a global service and supply chain company, Reinhard has an analytical and structured working style with experience in leading an international team of up to 200 people.
He has extensive commercial and technical understanding of digital supply chain and license management solutions for the entertainment industry, and achieved sustained revenue and operating profit growth through market understanding and lean management.
Peter Cossack, Cybersecurity Services Segment Lead- Studios, Irdeto
Pete Cossack has been with Irdeto since 2010 and has responsibility for managing the Watermarking and Anti-Piracy business. He has 18 years of experience in the entertainment industry with 11 of those years dedicated to helping clients build and implement strategies around content protection and anti-piracy services. Pete has helped deliver multi-million dollar products and services from concept to market for companies like Rovi, Cryptography Research Inc and HBO. Pete served in the United States Marine Corps for four years.
Steeve is VP of Business Development, Marketing and Strategic Partnerships at Irdeto. He is a seasoned cybersecurity industry executive with more than 15 years of experience in driving engagement, business and revenue across video entertainment and connected industries. He transformed the Conditional Access landscape by launching the world’s first, and market-leading, one-way, software-only CA solution, Cloaked CA. Steeve is well-versed in the international business landscape, having held key strategic positions based out of the Netherlands, Canada and China throughout his career. Prior to his current leadership role at Irdeto, Steeve was Co-Chief Executive Officer at International Datacasting Corporation (IDC), a technology provider to the world’s premiere broadcasters based out of Canada. Steeve holds a master’s degree in Software Engineering from the École Nationale Supérieure of Bordeaux (France).
Ronald Peters, Product Manager, Irdeto
Ronald leads product management for Trusted Home as well as Conditional Access at Irdeto, helping operators and service providers address security and deployment challenges for internet and broadcast services. Prior to joining Irdeto, he has worked for both service providers and technology providers, including Vodafone Ziggo, Samsung and Nokia. With 20 years of experience in mobility and media technologies, Ronald has insights into consumer and business trends driving the shifts in media consumption today. Ronald holds a Master of Science degree in Electronics and certifications in product management, marketing and business management.
